Blind rivets, also known as pop rivets, are used to fasten hard materials when only one side is accessible. They are ideal for joining steel plates, metal parts and other solid constructions. These rivets provide a strong, permanent and vibration-resistant joint, making them widely used in industry, assembly work and metal fabrication. Blind rivets are commonly applied in the construction of machinery, vehicles, cladding, ventilation ducts, cabinets and profiles. They are available in different lengths, diameters and materials such as aluminium, steel and stainless steel, making them suitable for various applications and environments. Aluminium rivets are lightweight and easy to install, while steel and stainless steel rivets offer maximum strength and corrosion resistance. Installation can be done using hand, battery-powered or pneumatic rivet tools. As the rivet is set, the mandrel pulls the body, clamping the materials tightly together. This creates a strong, reliable connection without access to the backside.
